The content is hard to listen to and hard to discuss and honestly, I needed time to decompress afterwards. My heart just really hurts for every single person affected by abuse whether physical, emotional, verbal, sexual, and those affected by human trafficking - in whatever shape it takes.
BUT I knew I needed to do this because it’s an incredibly important and relevant topic for us to talk about. To educate and to empower ourselves and our children.
Fear makes us believe that we’re safe when we stick our heads in the sand and avoid thinking and speaking about these topics, but the Bible clearly tells us to shine a light on the darkness:
