Gabrielle Montoya gets behind the mic to tell her story. Inspired by the Instagram page, "Love What Matters", she hopes her story will help others, like her, to know they are not alone in the struggle. This is just the first installment of Gabby's story which covers the first 20 years of her life. An absent biological father, raised around drug abuse and business, suffering a miscarriage at 17, and becoming a widow at 19.  

"Love What Matters" in an Instagram page where members and followers of the group share their own stories of adversity, trauma, and life experiences aimed to uplift others. Gabby has always expressed her desire to write about her own experiences, but has trouble putting her words to paper. So, we felt it would be a better avenue for us to record her own voice and share a more natural conversation.
