This election season, acceptance, compassion, truth, calm and love have all been in short supply. Fear has regressed us and morphed the best of us into something less than who we are and aspire to be. As soon as this election is over, it behooves us to attempt to heal the divisiveness, the venom of this past political year. How? By extending forgiveness, compassion, acceptance and love to our friends, our families, our neighbors and even our enemies -- to pray for those persecuting us and to pray that we release our fear and try to see the good in everyone despite how they're behaving.
