She'll be joined by Ruby and her mother, Sanghee, along with Jenny Cullumber, the National Chair of the contest. Jenny will share more about the importance of this essay contest and how it encourages young writers to express their gratitude and love for their mothers.

Ruby will also share her experiences at the 90th National Convention in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she presented her essay to over 200 Gala attendees and led the Pledge of Allegiance. In honor of her winning essay, American Mothers awarded a $500 Golden Rule Grant to Every Child Counts, a nonprofit that Ruby chose to support.
