How you see yourself is how you see the world. If you identify with your victim story.
If you are unable to see redeeming qualities - you will see everything from this lens. So fighting, defending, and protecting is normal. This behavior includes finding fault, placing blame, and being the victim of your life.
Being the victim is a choice - we are all responsible for how we want to feel.
To be willing to see things differently is healing - it is a step in the direction of becoming whole.
