"Jig-a-Bobo" was jam-packed, and so is this week's Lovecraft Country Bumpkin. We managed to talk about the murder of Emmett Till, minstrelsy, Black parenting, queerness, Uncle Tom's Cabin, and more. We even found a few minutes to gush about how much we all want a pet shoggoth (except Klara. She's still denying that they're awesome, but we'll bring her around).

Hippolyta and her extradimensional journey of self-discovery gave us way more warm fuzzies than we expected from a horror show! The Afro Goddess said we can be whoever we want to be and we felt that. Hopefully Montrose gets the memo.

American media needed more kumiho stories. Trust Lovecraft Country to deliver! Join us as we follow the tangled web of culture clash, family drama, and sexual violence at the heart of “Meet Me in Daegu.”

"Holy Ghost" basically broke every haunted house trope ever, so let us count the ways. But even with all these ghosts, let's be honest, the really unbelievable thing about this episode was that these Black kids managed to both obtain and use a Ouija board without getting whipped by their mammas.

This week on Lovecraft Country Bumpkin, it's all about those creepy white men in hoods. We'll talk about Black trauma and how the Sons of Adam and Atticus' mystical lineage calls back to the KKK and rules of slave heredity. Also, Torre just really loves the baby shoggoth.
