There was a king who loved God. God spoke to him giving him a great task. He was to go to war against terrorists, the Amalekites. This king fought hte brave battle and destroyed the enemy. But because he loved God, he did not completely obey God, and kept some of the spoil of battle in order to lead the people in a great worship service of God. Was God pleased with this king's plan for worship- No- God rejected this king as king and sought another to rule His people.
