Wow! Reading has always been my escape! My favorite way to visit a different place or time. Amy Lillard has a knack with turning your reading. into travel time and a desire to know the characters better! she has taken my from travel plans to Clover Ridge and Wells Landing now I will add Cattle Creek and a visit to the the Langston's Ranch! I really must meet sensitive Seth, Cowboy Chase, and protector Jake! They are brothers who love each other, cherish the women in their life, Mom, Grandma, beloved passed wife, Jessica and family friend Millie! Seth is strong, sexy, caring and Sheriff. Chase is a cad with a heart too little too late, Jake is the widow with a big heart, great dad, and big brother! Jessica and Seth find each other through a twist of events. Their journey to find how deep their love is takes many roads and you want to drive each one and don't miss a turn. Their love tends to overheat at times, and Amy has a very beautiful way of expressing the Overheating very tastefully so everyone will enjoy reading this "Cowboy" love story! Loving a Lawman is the first book in a new series by Amy Lillard. Itâs a cowboy romance set in Texas with the Langston family front and center in the small town of Cattle Creek. Seth is the sheriff in the town he grew up in and heâs loved Jessie from afar since he was a kid. She grew up on the wrong side of the tracks and trouble has always followed her. So much so, that she even accepts the blame for things that went wrong in town when she had nothing to do with the incidents. She has always been welcomed by the Langstons and included in their family events.

Jessie works two jobs to make ends meet and lives with her sickly grandmother who raised her when her mother left town years ago saying Jessie was too much trouble and she couldnât handle her. Sheâs always been Chaseâs girl, the youngest Langston brother, of which there are five.
