Partiality is in complete contradiction to the gospel. No one is able to save themselves – all are sinners, all are enemies of God. If Jesus was willing to die for the lowliest of sinners, the most wretched enemies of godliness, the most perverse, distorted, cruel, self-absorbed – with nothing to gain but pain. Then who am I to select who I’m going to serve or love based on what I think I may gain?

We are called to love one another and love our neighbors.
