Short story that is not your average mystery!

For me, although I think the story has potential, this felt a bit rushed to me. It is a short story, so maybe that's why and it could be made to a longer novel and more compelling. The story is a good idea as June, who runs her own set shop, meets a stranger. A stranger who has an unusual job and inserts himself into June's life. The story does have an intriguing ending that I think many will enjoy.

Ending I did not like, but story was fantastic!

I am somewhat biased, but as a story of romance etc, I thought TJ Weeks did a marvelous job going outside his normal writing. Tied two characters together very well and the ending made the peace (just abruptly). Outside of the ending which was not bad, it takes an unlikely situation of a young lady not looking for love but rather love finding her. Definitely a surprise! Two main characters in this short story were very well detailed and easy to follow which made the outcome of the ending that much more.

Honestly not what I expected..... It was better! I'm use to reading horrifying things from this author. Reading this loved story made me see this author on a different light. I hope to see more like this from him in the future!
