Welcome back to Day 17 and 18 of our 21-Day September Devotion Series! Today we discuss the challenge of loving those who may seem unlovable. As believers, we are called to love everyone, but the honest truth is that it can be hard to love people we don't like. It's difficult to love, pray for, forgive, and be kind to those who have wronged or mistreated us, or even those we simply don't get along with due to personality differences.
While there is space and grace for our feelings and emotions, we are not called to like everyone—we are called to love them as Christ loves us. We are called to forgive as the Lord has forgiven us, and to be kind as the Lord has been kind to us. One of the best ways to love the unlovable is by praying for them, forgiving them, and showing them kindness.
