In this ep Katie and Des have a chat inspired by the Esther Perel Ted talk that was mentioned on last week's ep. But before they get into that Des has to chat a bit more about his love for Maura. Of course Des respects his buddy Curtis but he has huge admiration for the national treasure that is Maura Higgins. We cover topics like whether "emotional cheating" is a thing, being separate but together in a relationship and how being comfortable with yourself is a key to success in a relationship. The chat then takes a bit of a deeper turn as Katie talks about her fears of looking back on her traumatic childhood and whether "terapy" (therapy) is a good thing to do. She is extremely honest and its a great insight into what goes into being comfortable with who we are.
