When I heard that Insecure was leaving Netflix, I had a small moment… and it reminded me just how much this show meant to so many of us. So naturally, I did what any passionate fan would do and started a podcast.

Lowkey Unforgettable is an unofficial, loosely rewatch podcast where I revisit episodes of Insecure and talk through the moments that made the show so relatable, funny, messy, and real.

In this first episode, I talk about the inspiration behind starting the podcast and why Insecure continues to resonate years later. Then we go back to the beginning and revisit Season 1, Episode 1.

We meet Issa, Molly, and the world that introduced us to mirror raps, complicated friendships, relationship questions, and the feeling of trying to figure life out in real time.
