Sturgill Horn is a skater currently living in Winston-Salem, NC. Widely renowned as the mouth of the south, he has a deep and illustrious history in NC skateboarding that deserves the highest respect from the wider community. His involvement in skateboarding has spanned many generations and multiple scenes within the state, so he was a natural fit for the podcast. In this episode he speaks on his experiences getting into skating in the 90s, riding for up-and-coming companies alongside other high-caliber NC legends, moving around and discovering new scenes, and the current state of affairs in Winston-Salem skateboarding. He's a natural storyteller and he has immense amounts of memories to draw out of his extraordinary narrative. We didn't get to cover everything we wanted to in this marathon of an episode, so don't be surprised when he makes a second appearance later on down the line. Sturgill is indeed still talkin' for real.
