The Liminal Spaces Companion Journal for daily personal reflection questions and a weekly small group discussion guide.
The Liminal Spaces playlist is available on Spotify.
1 The entire community raised their voice and the people wept that night. 2 All the Israelites criticized Moses and Aaron. The entire community said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt or if only we had died in this desert! 3 Why is the Lord bringing us to this land to fall by the sword? Our wives and our children will be taken by force. Wouldn’t it be better for us to return to Egypt?” 4 So they said to each other, “Let’s pick a leader and let’s go back to Egypt.”
The Liminal Spaces Series is a contemplative journey through the Scriptures on the theme of wilderness, growth, and change. It was originally broadcast for the season of Lent, but it can be used at any time of the year.
We invite you into Scripture, reflection, and intentional practices to help you abide in the presence of Jesus and the Word of God, learn by studying the Scriptures, and go with intention to love the world. Each weekday is a 10-12 minute devotional, with the exception of the final four meditations (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, Easter Sunday) which are slightly longer.
The Liminal Spaces bibliography can be found on our website.
Scriptures are taken from various translations, the most common being the Common English Bible (CEB), the English Standard Version (ESV), and the New Living Translation (NLT).
