  • This will help create a culture where people feel like they can share their perspectives can create stronger teams and create resilience
  • Greater unity within a team

The Highs and Lows of the Inclusive Skill

High: I make sure every member of my team feels like they are part of a tribe, all voices are heard and validated. I am sensitive to those who could feel left out.

  • Validated, Valued, Vulnerable

Low: My team has silos, communication is secretive or exclusive, team members don't feel appreciated.

  • Silos, Secrets, Shunned

How to grow the skill of Inclusive and strengthen your team…

  1. Celebrate the diversity of people, ideas, and talents - everyone is equal but not the same
  2. Encourage with specifics of how members of your team are contributing to the whole to make everyone better
  3. Be open to other's ideas - amplify new voices
