Sharni Ngakane has her Masters in Clinical Psychology from WITS, and has completed her training in Clinical Psychology. 

Sharni deals with trauma, and is devoted to creating change in the spaces of; gender based violence, transformation, mental health, as well as child welfare through research practice and advancements in legislation.

 

HOW TO CHOOSE A THERAPIST:

What is the difference between a therapist/psychologist/psychiatrist?

Are there questions I should ask my chosen mental health care provider?

What should I tell my therapist first, or in the first session?

What do you do if you feel awkward or uncomfortable?
