The couple behind Middle Eats, Obi and Salma, join Moghamra for an insightful conversation on how they started and becoming YouTube's #1 Middle Eastern cooking channel. As two Egyptian foodies, they’ve built an international community around the love of Middle Eastern food.From starting a cooking YouTube channel during the lockdown to hosting vibrant cooking events and writing their first cookbook, Obi and Salma have taken their passion for food to new heights. The couple takes us behind the scenes of developing their recipes to share what it truly means to pour your love and passion into a dish. Their journey goes beyond recipes, they explain how food can be a passion, a taste of home, and a comforting space to connect with others.Obi and Salma launched their YouTube channel, Middle Eats, in 2020, and since then, they’ve hosted multiple cooking events, some of which were in support of Palestine. In 2027, the couple’s cookbook will be published with the internationally award-winning publisher W. W. Norton & Company

من فتح قناة طبخ على اليوتيوب في فترة كورونا، لاستضافة فعاليات طبخ وكتابة أول كتاب طبخ ليهم، أُوبي و سلمى خدوا شغفهم وحبهم للأكل لمراحل جديدة وقرروا ياخدونا وراء الكواليس وإزاي بيطوروا وصفاتهم و شاركونا اهتمامهم وحبهم للأكل. رحلتهم مش بس في وصفات الأكل اللي بيعملوها، كمان شرحولنا إزاي الأكل ممكن يكون طعم يفكرنا بالبيت والأهل، ولغة تواصل مع الآخرين.

أُوبي و سلمى بدأوا قناتهم على اليوتيوب، ميدل إيتس، في 2020، ومن ساعتها استضافوا فعاليات طبخ مختلفة، بعضها كان لدعم لفلسطين. في 2027، كتاب الطبخ بتاعهم هينشر مع دار النشر العالمية و. و. نورتون آند كومباني
