What is the nature of reality?  What is knowledge?  How do we know what is true?  A firm grounding in reality and logic is requisite for the empowered individual.

People operating at Level 1, only on the perceptual level, feel they know reality and therefore no logic is required.   People at Level2, the conceptual, realize that validation of knowledge requires a rigorous application of logic.

It is the nature of the herd that leaders want message reach over message truth.   Leaders will often use social pressure to suppress the critical analysis on their own members in order to increase the reach of their own messages. This campaign against independent thought is an essential basis of the herd mentality, which encourages the blind acceptance of the leader’s reality.
