LTSY Ep.2: BMC® talks with Nina Wehnert
In the second episode of the Life that said Yes Coversations Ivan talks to Nina Wehnert. Nina is a dancer and certified Body-Mind Centering® Teacher and Practitioner. She lives in Berlin and is teaching Body-Mind Centering® in classes, workshops, dance and yoga training programs and at dance festivals around the world.
She has studied Contemporary Dance at Bewegungs-art, Freiburg and at SEAD, Salzburg. For over 25 years she has been dancing, researching and enjoying Contact Improvisation, and also teaching it for the last 10 years.
She is also a yoga teacher and has learned yoga at OM Yoga, a yoga school that combines Vinyasa Yoga with precise alignment and Buddhist meditation.
Early in her movement career she discovered a passion for anatomy, movement research and the many layers of being human and studied BMC® with Moveus in Germany and Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen in the USA.
Since 2019 she is a teacher in the licensed certification programs and part of the core staff of Moveus, the BMC® certification training program in Germany.
She is also offering her own BMC® training programs in Berlin and Bavaria as well as workshops and classes. She is regularly teaching in the Dance Intensive program of Tanzfabrik, Berlin.
