Teams across SAP have developed a bot that automatically creates employment offer letters. The solution, which relies on robotic process automation, ensures potential employees get their employment offers faster and frees up HR employees to deal with higher-level tasks. RPA involves a software robot learning how to enter data in graphical user interfaces like a human. This makes it possible to automate a wide variety of repetitive tasks. Facilitated by the acquisition of Contextor at the end of 2018, SAP has had its own RPA solution in its portfolio since April – SAP Intelligent RPA.
