Very early in one’s social life, Kindergarten, first and second grade, especially if one is an only child,

it comes to one’s attention that more is expected than what prevails at home,

there are tough lessons, both in the classroom and in the yard, especially the yard to be learned. 

As a first step to becoming sovereign of oneself in contemporary society one needs to expand consciousness beyond what the rational mind will accept, to upend its control over one’s every thought and action. The notion of safety, which is society’s mantra, is a false paradigm. There is only the inscrutable adventure of one’s chosen course.
