On multiple occasions, Jesus Christ exposed the Pharisees for their hypocrisy and deceit. But we should understand how their hypocrisy works because they have their counterparts in our time (Matthew 24:5, 11, 24); and, as children of God, we should be able to identify them, to avoid being deceived.
