Welcome back to Daily Dose with Pastor Josh Mayo!
Today’s verse challenges the way we think about generosity:
“When you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind… you will be repaid at the resurrection.”
Kingdom hospitality is different from the world’s version. It gives without expecting anything in return. True generosity mirrors the heart of God—freely given, undeserved, and full of love. When we serve those who cannot repay us, we reflect the grace we ourselves have received.
Today, practice hospitality in a tangible way. Invite or serve someone who cannot repay you, and let your generosity point them to God.
Passage Mentioned:
Luke 14:13–14 — Generosity that expects nothing in return reflects the heart of God.
