This is classically called “The Parable of the Great Banquet.” It’s an appropriate theme for us as we head toward Christmas week. For many, Christmas is a time of celebration and feasting. It can also be a time of contentious dinner table conversations as families and friends gather together. In this sermon, will see how Jesus pressed in at the table, and look ahead to the ultimate feast in the presence of the King.
