These are the three areas of a person's life that will most present themselves as an idol that would stop you from loving God with all your heart, soul mind and strength: your relationships with other people, people will use excuses, "oh, it's my family, my kids, my parents" and they wont follow Jesus. So Jesus says "you've got to love me more than that."
