This begins a series of three parables that are tied together: The Lost Sheep, The Lost Coin, The Lost Sons. We will dig into the first two of them on Sunday. These parables come in response to the grumbling of the Pharisees, and their frustration with Jesus. As we engage these parables there is much to learn about ourselves and about God’s heart.
