Today’s verse comes with a powerful and clarifying truth from Jesus:

“No one can serve two masters… You cannot serve both God and money.”

Jesus makes it unmistakably clear—divided loyalty is impossible. Money is a tool, but it makes a terrible master. What we trust most will always shape how we live. God alone is worthy of our full devotion, our confidence, and our obedience.

Today, take an honest look at your priorities. Ask yourself: Am I serving God with my resources, or am I serving my resources as a god?
