Mark 13:26-27Hades: a temporary realm where the dead await judgmentHell: eternal lake of fire13The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:13-15Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Daniel 12:2For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 NKJV…the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost. Luke 19:10The question isn’t how could a loving God send people to Hell, but how could people turn away from so loving a God?Vs 25-27: Holding on to Me (ref. Romans 3:10-13) For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—9not by works, so that no one can boast. 10For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:8-10 App: Have you come home to God through Christ? Vs 29-31: Signs of Deity For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
