This is an intriguing passage for two reasons.
First, in the analogy Jesus gives about faith, he describes what we would consider to be harsh treatment of a servant. It seems so out of character from what we understand about Jesus' character and nature.
Second, or perhaps, it should be first, the disciples ask Jesus to increase their faith. We aren't Christians very long, before we realize that we need more faith. Jesus' answer to their request for more faith is relevant for us today.
