Welcome back to Daily Dose with Pastor Josh Mayo!
Today’s passage shows us the power of grace in our weakest moment:
“The Lord turned and looked straight at Peter… And he went outside and wept bitterly.”
Even in Peter’s failure, Jesus’ eyes met him with love. That look carried conviction, but it also carried compassion. Grace was present in the moment of denial, and restoration was already in motion.
If you’ve stumbled, don’t hide in shame today. Meet His eyes again in prayer. Let repentance lead you to restoration, and allow His grace to lift you where guilt tries to keep you down.
