Phil. 2:6-9,Isaiah 14:13c, Genesis 3:5) “…whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—28just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:26-28Vs 28-32: ConvertedApp: There comes a time when each of us must own our faith Vs 33-38: Victory with the Weapons of God…the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword…Hebrews 4:12…be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power……12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then…17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Ephesians 6:10,12-14a,17-18Vs 39-46: Prayer with Purpose“Your will be done”: a great prayer that we must all come to grips with. However, its intent is far more significant. Jesus wants to be sure there is no other way but the cross. This debate was settled here, but some still want to engage in it.Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12Choose: praying or faintingJesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up . Luke 18:1The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Romans 13:11-12What is God’s Spirit speaking into your life today? How must you respond?
