This episode looks at Luke 2:23, “(as it is written in the Law of the Lord, “Every male who first opens the womb shall be called holy to the Lord”). The ritual that is said (Exodus 13:2) is less significant than the one left unsaid (Numbers 18:15–16). Christ had no need of the redemption ritual because he is already set apart from sin and set apart for God’s purposes. Praise God for our sinless savior!
