* Waiting for God to move is one of the best things you can do in your work.
* In Micah 5:2 it was prophesied that the Messiah would come from Bethlehem.
* All Jewish boys were raised to learn these Scriptures, so Joseph most likely knew this prophecy.
* I can see him working hard in Nazareth to provide for his pregnant fiancé, sticking up for her when people gossiped about her.
* In the back of his mind, he may have thought, “Wait - I know what the angel told us. But He’s supposed to come from Bethlehem - how is all that gonna work?”
* THEN ONE DAY!!!!
* It happened - a law was enacted, nailed to the door of City Hall, and Joseph knew once again God was moving!
* Imagine how this felt to Joseph.
* He could’ve moved to Bethlehem before this law, but it wouldn’t have been the right time.
* His one job was to be faithful where he was and wait for God to move!
* God wants us to be faithful in our work, just as Joseph was, and let Him make things happen in His time in His way.
