In todays passage, Mary and Joseph lose Jesus--the Savior of the world, God incarnate--on the way back from a trip to Jerusalem. We see that at the age of 12 Jesus already knew his identity as Gods son, and he models for us how to submit to our own parents while also being faithful to the Lord./p
