This episode looks at Luke 2:48, “And when his parents saw him, they were astonished. And his mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us so? Behold, your father and I have been searching for you in great distress.” Mary and Joseph are rightfully upset and worried about their lost son, but they allow that to cause them to miss what God is up to with Jesus in the temple. May we avoid that fate by God’s grace.
