This episode looks at Luke 2:7, “And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.” We can rejoice again at the humility of the Son of God to condescend to human form for us. We can rejoice along with the animals in the stable at the strength, patience, and innocence this gift of gifts brings to us.
