The Gospel of Luke is the third canonical Gospel of the New Testament, being the first part of a “two-volume work” that continues with the book of Acts. The Gospel of Luke brings forth Jesus as the “compassionate Savior for all people, emphasizing God’s love for the marginalized, the universality of salvation, prayer, and a “great reversal” of worldly values where the lowly are exalted.”
