Welcome back to Daily Dose with Pastor Josh Mayo!
Today’s passage brings us to the compassion at the center of Jesus’ mission:
"It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." — Luke 5:31–32
Jesus didn’t come for the polished or the perfect—He came for the broken. His ministry was defined by mercy, reaching for those who knew they needed healing. When we bring our weaknesses to Him honestly, He meets us with grace that restores and transforms.
Approach Him today with whatever feels weak, wounded, or weary. And as you receive His mercy, look for someone you can extend that same compassion to.
Passage Mentioned:Luke 5:31–32 — Jesus came to call the broken, not the self-righteous.
