* It was time for Jesus to middle down His team into twelve.

* They would go from “disciple” (follower) to “apostle” (one with authority).

* What did He do first?

* Vs 12 - He spent ALL NIGHT in prayer!

* How many of us do this before we make a tough decision.

* Vs 13- He chose twelve.

* Was this fair? It was just.

* Vs 14-16 - one of His hires was a traitor!

* God was behind even the choice of Judas!

* But Judas played a role in getting Christ into position to die!

* Not everyone you hire will work out.

* But everyone you hire will be a part of God’s plan to get you where He wants you to go.
