Jesus’ call to radical love in the previous text continues. In this text we see what has become perhaps the most beloved verse in the whole Bible for our culture, “Judge not, and you will not be judged.” Does Jesus mean that we should not have moral or ethical discernment? Is He calling us to not confront each other, or talk about sin? How does it all connect to trees and fruit? Or logs and specks?
