We humans have a complicated relationship with faith. We don’t really know what it is. Many people see faith as a big illogical cop-out. Yet on the other side, faith is seen as an emotional and psychological experience. Faith is something every single human uses and exercises every day. The question is, if what you have faith in actually deserves the faith you put into it! Jesus, in and of Himself, has power over Disaster, power over Demons, power over Destiution, power over Disease and power over Death!What do Jairus and the poor lady have in common? Jairus is told to “just believe” and the sick woman is told her “faith has healed” her. What do they have in common? They believe Jesus. They believe He is who He says He is! It is not the faith that saves, but the object of faith. It is not the strength of the faith, but the object of faith that saves us. It’s not the quality of your faith, it’s not even quantity of your faith, but commitment, trust and faith in the real thing...the real Jesus!
