Last week it was the disciples, in the midst of storm so strong that they feared for their lives. It was the demon-possessed man, in the grip of powerful forces of evil that tortured him. Today, its a woman with an incurable disease, who has been bleeding for 12 years, whom no one can heal (v43). It’s a dad, who is about to lose his only daughter to death, and he is powerless to do anything about it.
But what we see in all these 4 stories is that Jesus is powerful in all those situations where we are powerless. But more than that - Jesus is deeply caring and compassionate.
