Jesus reminds us that the kingdom moves forward. Discipleship isn’t part-time or divided—it requires a steady gaze in the direction God is leading. Looking back at old habits, regrets, or comforts weakens our obedience. The mission is too important to lose focus.

Today, identify one thing that keeps pulling your attention backward. Lay it down, and move forward with intentional focus.
