Peter goes up to Drew Slim and talks about this story again again. This story of Cornelius and Peter and the Holy Spirit. Coming up on gentle believers is retold many times. And then of course. Also in this chapter. We have the Antioch. CHURCH.

This is definitely a key chapter in the book of acts peters vision on the roof, and also, the connection to Cornelius is something that is told over and over again in the next few chapters, Peter has a vision later he thinks about the vision, and then later, he reports about the vision. Cornelius also has a vision of an angel, and then the messengers report about the vision of the angel. That’s the second Time and then Cornelius tells Peter about the vision of the angel. And then Peter tells the apostles and the circumcised believers and Jerusalem about Cornelius is report about the vision of the angel. So it’s reported I think may be four times in a way.

Here we connect more with this guy named Saul, who was bent on harassing people who follow Jesus, that people of God thinking that he was doing something for God, thinking that he was doing the right thing. When he was really actually doing the wrong thing. That’s interesting. Isn’t it? Could we be doing the thing that we think is right think is right when it’s actually wrong and we’re actually doing something wrong. I guess one question is are we trying to arm someone and a good question to Pierce. Why are we trying to arm them? Could we be trying to harm Jesus instead I guess connected to Mathieu 25. The answer is very likely that we are harming. Jesus but of course we are in X aid or not in Mathieu 25 but there is connections everywhere. Isn’t there

Philip and Samaria and Ethiopia

What a speech! Here we have a retelling of the story of the people of Israel, focusing a lot on the story of Moses and Moses, rejection by his own people. And of course this is a story that is being spoken by someone who is currently being rejected by his people, Steven being rejected by the Jewish people and he is retelling. The grand story about Jesus being rejected by his own people. Rejection is not something that is correlated between God and human people. Just because you are rejected by human people does not mean that God is rejecting you

Here we hear about Steven, and how he starts to have debates with people from the so-called synagogue of Fred, men or synagogue of Fred slaves. Interestingly, at the end of Steven speech in the next chapter, we have Saul of Tarses there. We learned much about Saul in the book of acts. One of those things is that he was a Roman citizen. How could ball be a Roman citizen? Many people have pointed out that slaves. Who were Fred in the Roman Empire where declared citizens. So could all have been a part of the synagogue of Fred slaves. Not Fred, slaves Fred, slaves, FREED.

It talks about how there were members from Sirene, Alexandria, Celia and Asia Perry. Paul was from Celissia, which was a profit in the Roman Empire. I know that this talked to text is spelling solicita Ron, but Tarsus was in the Providence of Celissia, CILICIA.

I really hope I didn’t screw up all these recordings and you’re listening to something besides act that acts of the apostles chapter 5 but otherwise I’m sure it’s probably Luke chapter 5. Here we have jail, Time, jail Time, Peter, and John were in jail. Of course, the night before Jesus was crucified. He was in jail. Being in jail. Does not mean that God is for shaking you. God does not for sake people in jail. It seems that the people who are the closest to God, and the most connected to God. End up in jail. Of course, there are people in jail. You’ve done bad things like killing people and murdering people and stealing, and all kinds of other unspeakable things. But many people who have been in jail, and are currently in jail. Have done. Nothing except follow the path. God had for them and people didn’t like it.

Peter and John do an in-service training on how to talk to homeless people and how to talk to people who are begging on the street. It seems to Me that the key is looking at them actually looking at someone face-to-face is probably one of the best gifts that we could ever get. Has anybody today looked in you in the face yet? Have you looked at anybody in the face for like more than four seconds today, maybe we should start looking at people in the face. It reminds me of the last line and the lane is production. LESMIS production. The truth that wants was spoken that to love. Another person is to see the face of God.
