Ashburton’s cadet units are opening their doors to new recruits this month. The Ashburton Cadet Unit is holding open nights on THURS evenings from 6pm to 9pm at Mania‑O‑Roto Park. Meanwhile, Ashburton Air Cadets, No. 24 Squadron, is welcoming new members aged 13 to 15 every Thursday night from 7pm at Hangar 4, Ashburton Airport.
