Were they avoidable? First we’ll chat about BREAKUP #1, which we affectionately call the “Princess and the Pauper” breakup. Christopher Hayden played a big part of this breakup. Was Luke justified in wanting to take some time to get to know April on his own? Was Lorelai justified in giving him an ultimatum? Ultimately, Lorelai does some sabotaging at the end of this relationship. Why does she do this?
