Luke Mathews is an Australian middle-distance runner who competes in the 800 metres and 1500 metres. He represented Australia in both events at the 2016 Summer Olympics. 

He chats with Pat about his incredibly humble beginnings growing up in Melbourne's western suburbs, having to decide between a career in Aussie Rules or Running, having his Mother as his own coach, reflecting on his time at the Olympic Games and his love for the Tyrendarra F.C.
