Before revolutionizing the comic book medium in the mid-80's, Alan Moore had a brief run on Star Wars. It's weird, and includes some wild characters and stories, just as you'd expect from Marvel 40 years ago. But it also connects to modern Star Wars in some surprisingly relevant ways. Someone working at Lucasfilm / Disney today has been doing homework and taking notes!
