We’re back to discuss LUNA microangiography.
Joining me today is Dr. Tom Masters and Ryan Wudtke, one of our stupendous hyperbaric techs.
We will discuss what LUNA is, what it does, situations where this is currently utilized, set up, contraindications and some potential future uses.
Below are a couple LUNA imaging examples as well.
Left foot frostbite injury showing decreased bloodflow to the distal toes.
Right 5th ray amputation site with ischemic area along the suture line (sutures were immediately removed by podiatry while obtaining this image).
